Target Agrees to sell Sony Blu-Ray for Christmas

So one of the big two has weighed in as to which format is the one to watch. The HD DVD format really needs Walmart to step up and at least agree to market both formats equally this upcoming holiday season or...the game is over by mis 2008.

My advice continues to be buy cautiously.

Sony Betamax versus VHS..our guess is most of the viewers of our site remember the battle of two different VCR formats. People argued which format was better, in the end number of units from multiple vendors made VHS the winner.

Will history repeat itself? Sony has launched it's Blu Ray format and for high definition DVD and Toshiba launched HD DVD. This coming holiday season will mark the first significant battle for market share and eventual domination.
